Local Salt Lake City Franchise Network Hosts Growth Strategy Session for Business Leaders

Salt Lake City, April—Franchise leaders gathered together for lunch and networking Monday April, 28th at the Corporate Alliance hub; 7730 South Union Park Avenue, Suite 150 Midvale, UT. Alexander’s Print Advantage hosted, and Jeff Alexander, President and CEO conducted the luncheon.

These meetings provide leaders of the franchise community a chance to gather together to learn ways to improve their small businesses from each other and industry experts. Franchise Business Networking (FBN) meetings are held once a quarter and are sponsored by the International Franchise association (IFA).

“Having the opportunity to meet with the Franchisors, and business owners has been very helpful,” says Tara Jones, Sales Consultant and Local FBN organizer from Alexander’s Print Advantage. “We’ve found these meetings to be very worthwhile. We hope to keep the ball rolling, by spreading the word, and increasing the attendance each time we meet.”

This particular session had two speakers-- Scott Young and Jeff Thompson, both practicing Franchise Attorneys. The focus of their presentations was franchise law--the do’s and don’ts of running your Franchise.

IFA is the world’s oldest and largest trade group representing the business strategy that generates an estimated $1 trillion annually in U.S. sales. Its members are franchisees and franchisors in more than 75 industries, from auto repair to weight loss, daycare to travel agencies and much more. Today’s Franchise Business network is the combination of IFA’s two regional programs, the 2nd Tuesday Program, which began in 1991, and the original Franchise Business Network, which began in 1996. The Franchise Business Network brings local franchisors, franchisees and suppliers together on a regular basis to create business-to-business and grassroots networking opportunities. Franchise leaders discuss current topics about franchising and take advantage of affordable educational programs.

The next Franchise meeting will take place in early August. It will be held at the same location, and same time.
